Louise Hampson
PSYCHOTHERAPIST IN BURLINGTON
In-person and online psychotherapy, giving you the flexibility to receive the therapy you want
Hi, I'm Louise
I am a Registered Psychotherapist based in Burlington and Toronto and a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy. At my Burlington therapy practice, I work with adults to address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, attachment wounds and trauma, unhealthy relationship patterns, and persistent negative self-talk. My primary objective is to help my clients increase their self-awareness and acceptance, develop emotional fluency, and enhance their ability to cope with daily stressors and create positive changes in their lives. I am passionate about empowering my clients to achieve their goals and improve their overall mental well-being.
A Personalized Approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory, but I also incorporate mindfulness, somatic work, and other experiential techniques. These modalities are designed to help you access the deeper aspects of your psyche that may lie below your conscious awareness. I offer non-judgemental listening, support, empathy, and insight to help you gain a greater understanding of yourself and your experiences. Because my approach is client-centred, I tailor the therapy to your specific mental health needs, so that we can work together to achieve your goals.
