Does Psychotherapy Help?

While life's challenges make you who you are, they don't have to control you. Through self awareness and trying something new, you may begin to see your fears, doubt, anxiety, and relationships differently.

A Personalized Approach

As a registered therapist in Toronto, my goal is to help you become increasingly unstuck. I can show you how even painful problems are information and potent opportunities for change and growth.

Meet In-Person or Online

I am now offering in-person therapy in Burlington and online, giving you the flexibility to receive the therapy you want. My online sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions, and you get to choose your own environment.

What is the role of the Psychotherapist?

The role of a psychotherapist is to provide mental health treatment and support to individuals who are struggling with a variety of emotional, behavioural, and psychological issues. This can include things like depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, and more. The psychotherapist will work with their clients to understand their concerns, identify underlying issues, and develop an individualized treatment plan. They will use various therapeutic techniques, such as talk therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed and psychodynamic therapy, to help clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
